Think Equal and SEE Learning are happy to announce a new collaboration that infuses SEE Learning materials into the existing Think Equal curriculum for children ages 4 to 6. SEE Learning is the culmination of over two decades of academic collaboration with Emory University. Designed for teachers and administrators, the programme provides a universal, non-sectarian and science-based approach to fostering the ethical development of the whole child.
Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning (SEE Learning) is a new education programme developed at Emory University for international use with the vision of “a compassionate and ethical world for all.” SEE Learning provides educators with a comprehensive framework for cultivating social, emotional, and ethical competencies crafted into a digestible, spiralled curriculum for early years through to higher education. The programme builds upon evidence-based practices in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) but also expands on them by including new topics such as attention training, cultivating compassion for self and others and ethical discernment.
This exciting collaboration makes SEE Learning materials available to educators engaged in early childhood education for the first time and will also help bring awareness of SEE Learning to educators in many regions of the world currently adopting Think Equal but not yet SEE Learning. Think Equal also develops further by incorporating the innovative elements of the SEE Learning programme, including trauma-informed resilience practices and the cultivation of attention, compassion, and systems thinking.
SEE Learning has been integrated into Think Equal’s LEVEL 2 programme.
