THINK EQUAL IS ALIGNED WITH THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AND IS ON THE HIGH-LEVEL ADVISORY GROUP FOR THE MISSION 4.7

On 16 December 2020, A High-Level Advisory Group including Think Equal launched Mission 4.7 to deliver in practice the bold vision articulated by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on education and target 4.7 by 2030.

“By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development. We must urgently find a path to social inclusion, a culture of peace and cooperation, and an awareness of how to protect our societies from natural disruptions.”

Leslee has been invited to serve on the High-level advisory Group for Mission 4.7. This mission brings leaders from across the world together to highlight the necessity of quality education for all and education for sustainable development. Mission 4.7 will be led by Ban Ki-moon (former UN Secretary General) and Audrey Azoulay (Director-General of UNESCO), and Leslee will serve alongside Stefania Giannini (Assistant Director-General, UNESCO) Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah (Chairman and Founder of the Sunway Group Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), H.E.
